WWE Raw Matches To Be Added To SummerSlam 2026

There are only weeks remaining ahead of the WWE SummerSlam 2026 premium live event, which means there is not a ton of time for matches to be made.

With two episodes of Monday Night Raw ahead of SummerSlam, things should heat up and take shape before the company gets to Minneapolis.

From intense rivalries coming to a head to title bouts on the card, Raw will continue to have a huge presence on the SummerSlam 2026 premium live event.

Here are five WWE Raw matches to be potentially added to SummerSlam 2026.

WWE World Tag Team Championships: The Vision (Bron Breakker & Austin Theory) (c) vs. Alpha Academy (Otis & Akira Tozawa)

On the July 6 edition of Monday Night Raw, The Vision defeated Street Profits to win the WWE World Tag Team Championships thanks to Maxxine Dupri.

After joining The Vision, Dupri was confronted by Alpha Academy and questioned about her decision to side with Austin Theory.

This led to Maxxine showing her true colors by distracting Otis for Theory to low blow her former friend and stablemate.

Considering the history with Dupri and her former stablemates, WWE has enough groundwork to set the stage for The Vision’s Theory and Bron Breakker to defend the titles against Alpha Academy at SummerSlam 2026.

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Sol Ruca (c) vs. Raquel Rodriguez

On the July 6 WWE Raw, Sol Ruca defeated Raquel Rodriguez to retain the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.

This win came as a result of IYO SKY coming out to even the odds against The Judgment Day’s Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez.

To pay off that favor, Ruca had IYO’s back against The Judgment Day the week following, but Rodriguez got the better of the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion by powerbombing her into the ring post.

This could set up Raquel to get one more shot at the Women’s IC Title against Ruca at WWE SummerSlam 2026 in Minneapolis.

Rey Mysterio & Je’Von Evans vs. Rusev & Ethan Page

On the June 8 edition of Monday Night Raw, Rusev disrespected the lucha libre culture by unmasking Rey Mysterio’s mask at the behest of Ethan Page.

This led to Chad Gable coming out to make the save and retrieving the mask for Mysterio.

Then on the July 13 episode of Raw, Je’Von Evans went on a magical run in the Intercontinental Championship Number One Contender’s Gauntlet until Rusev eliminated him from the bout.

Considering the partnership they currently have on Raw, Rusev and Page could be opposed by their current rivals in Mysterio and Evans in a grudge tag team match on the WWE SummerSlam 2026 card.

Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria – No Holds Barred Match

At the July 18 edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Lyra Valkyria defeated Bayley.

After the win, Valkyria was not satisfied and decided to brutally assault her former friend, ending with the Night Wing on the steel steps.

While many fans felt this looked to be a way to write off Bayley, it could set the stage for an even brutal and violent bout between the former tag team partners at WWE SummerSlam 2026.

Bayley and Lyra battling once again in a No Holds Barred Match would make for a potential showstealer in Minneapolis that could help both of their careers.

Danhausen vs. Dominik Mysterio

At the July 18 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Danhausen defeated JD McDonagh with some help from New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns.

After emerging from the cloning machine, KAT-Hausen delivered a chokeslam to McDonagh and then another to Dominik Mysterio through a table.

With ‘The Very Nice, Very Evil’ star stealing money from him and making his life a living hell, ‘Dirty Dom’ could challenge Danhausen to a singles match at WWE SummerSlam 2026.

Danhausen facing Mysterio could make for a massive showcase for both men on one of WWE’s biggest shows of the year on August 1 or 2.
