Enzo Amore & Big Cass WWE Return Latest Following Raw Vignette

The latest on Enzo Amore’s potential WWE return following the airing of Big Cass’ return vignette on last week’s Raw show.

On last week’s episode of WWE Raw, it was confirmed that Big Cass would be making his return to WWE, with a vignette airing hyping his return on the August 3 episode of Raw.

The vignette featured only Big Cass, with him looking back at his time in NXT and with Enzo Amore on the main roster, with the narrator saying ‘what if the whole world said you were can’t miss? What if the whole world was wrong?’

Second Big Cass Vignette Airs On WWE Raw

It had been reported that WWE was set to bring back both Cass and Enzo, but Enzo’s absence from the initial promo was notable.

On tonight’s WWE Raw show, a second vignette aired, once again only Big Cass, this time focusing on his personal demons, including his firing from WWE and battles with alcohol.

Enzo Amore not being featured at all in the second vignette either ramps up speculation that he may not be on his way back to WWE after all, and it could only be Big Cass making his return to Raw.

WWE’s Oba Femi Dilemma Post-SummerSlam

Oba Femi’s push upon arriving on the WWE main roster, and the crowd response to him over the past seven months have made it abundantly clear that the company’s next top male superstar is indeed ‘The Ruler.’

A Hell in a Cell win against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam is surely next for Femi, a result that will only further underline his status as a top level star in the company. However, the real question is, what next for Femi after ‘The Beast’ rides off into the sunset.

The obvious answer would be for Oba to ascend to the World Heavyweight Title picture and finally claim the opportunity he passed up after winning King of the Ring, but will WWE really give Oba his major crowning moment at a b-level PLE? It’s certainly doubtful.

WrestleMania 43 seems like it’ll be the stage for that moment to happen, but in the mean time they better have some more interesting creative plans than the resumption of the short-lived ‘Oba Femi Open Challenge’, or risk derailing the Nigerian heavyweight’s momentum completely by the time we get to Riyadh next year.
