AJ Styles’ Message For Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk Following Body Transformation

AJ Styles has commented on CM Punk’s body transformation, revealing that he reached out to the Undisputed WWE Champion following his return.

CM Punk made his WWE return on the July 6 Raw episode, defeating Sami Zayn to win the Undisputed WWE Title in his first match since WrestleMania 42 in April.

With Punk showing off an impressive physique during his return match, AJ Styles has revealed that he messaged Punk after seeing what shape he was in.

Commenting on the new Undisputed WWE Champion’s body transformation, AJ Styles said:

“Sometimes when you get the opportunity to focus on yourself and not be on the road, it does wonders for you.

“A lot of times, it didn’t matter if somebody was helping you (with your diet), you’re still going to eat fast food because you’re on the road so much.

“Having that time to focus on you and get the proper nutrition and all these things that you can do to get your body feeling better, I get it, I do. He looks amazing.

“I actually sent him a text, ‘Dude, I hope you feel as good as you look,’ because he looks awesome.”

CM Punk recently revealed on What’s Your Story with Steph McMahon that he started working with Jay Ferruggia – the personal trainer who works with several other WWE stars including Chad Gable – six weeks ahead of WrestleMania 42.

This means Punk has been working towards his current physique since early-March – for over four months.

The star was off WWE TV from late-April to early-July, with CM Punk recently stating that he used this time to reset, and mourn the passings of several people close to him.

Punk stated that he sends Ferruggia his temperature, weight, and a photo of himself every morning, and receives personalised macro targets for each day.

CM Punk is now slated to defend the WWE Title against Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam.
