A WWE star has reacted to their championship loss on last night’s episode of SmackDown, apologising to the fans.

Two title changes took place on last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, with Jacy Jayne beating Tiffany Stratton to become the new Women’s United States Champion.

The other title change saw Talla Tonga and Tama Tonga of the MFTs regain the WWE Tag Team Championship from Damian Priest & R-Truth in a three-way also featuring the War Raiders.

Taking to social media today, Truth reacted to his loss of the WWE Tag Team Championship on SmackDown, apologising to both the WWE universe and to Priest.

He wrote:

Truth and Priest have been allied on WWE television since Priest’s time in the Judgment Day in 2024.

Will R-Truth & Damian Priest Split Up Following Defeat

With Priest and Truth no longer the WWE Tag Team Champions, we could see the two go their separate ways in the coming weeks.

Priest has been a babyface since he split from the Judgment Day back in 2024, and he has slowly moved his way further down the card than he was in his glory days as World Heavyweight Champion.

With a number of top babyfaces on SmackDown right now, including CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Finn Balor and Trick Williams, Priest may be able to get more momentum back on his side if he returns to his dark side.
