WWE stars to leave Raw: Which talent would benefit most from a switch of brands?

With there not being a traditional WWE Draft over the past two years, we have instead seen talent switch brands for the convenience of the storyline they are in, or simply because… Reasons.

Without the strict rules, talent that have hit a wall on their brand should at least have the scope to move elsewhere, and for these three names a change of scenery is exactly what they’re needing.

Here are two WWE stars to potentially leave Raw.

Seth Rollins

It has now been over six weeks since we last saw Seth Rollins in action on WWE programming; with his last match being at SummerSlam 2026 against Roman Reigns.

With Rollins recently returning to action during WWE’s South American tour, it seems safe to assume that his hiatus is due to a lack of creative plans for ‘The Visionary,’ and in all fairness it is is difficult to see where he slots into the storylines currently enveloping on Monday Night Raw.

Having already exhausted his feuds with The Vision and The Bloodline, Rollins’ only avenues would be a transition to the mid-card and going after Chad Gables Intercontinental Title or potentially feuding with The Judgment Day.

Over on SmackDown however, Rollins would have an abundance of potential rivals. Admittedly, many of them are slightly too familiar (CM Punk) but still, at least on the blue brand he would have the opportunity to pursue the Undisputed WWE Championship; something he can no longer do on Raw without undoing the poetic ending to he and Reigns’ SummerSlam main event.

While many of his opponents are familiar foes, almost all of them have seen some character changes since the last time Seth Rollins ran across them. Most notably being Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn.

IYO SKY

In comparison to 2025, IYO SKY has not reached the same heights of success in 2026.

Sure, she did win the Queen of the Ring tournament in June, but she also lost in her subsequent Women’s World Title match against Liv Morgan. Making things worse, she would quickly fade into the background of the main event scene as soon as Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch made their returns shortly after SummerSlam.

With fans still crying out for SKY and Rhea Ripley to face off in singles action one more time, it feels like ‘The Genius of the Sky’ should be moved to SmackDown in anticipation for the return of ‘The Eradicator.’

It’s unclear when Ripley will be cleared following her knee injury, but if SKY can get to SmackDown she can at least get in the hunt for the Interim WWE Women’s Title before her best friend makes her comeback, rather than doing very little on Monday nights.
