With Roman Reigns holding the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the OTC has a huge target on his back.

With Reigns having history with most of WWE’s top names, we’ll likely see him having some notable rematches in the coming months.

From family members to stars who Reigns has headlined WrestleMania with, there are a number of stars who it’d make sense to see challenge Roman Reigns for his title.

Here are four stars we could see have rematches against Roman Reigns soon.

LA Knight

A Roman Reigns vs LA Knight rematch has actually been confirmed, with the OTC to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Knight at Money in the Bank.

This will be the third time Knight has faced Reigns in a title match, with the Tribal Chief previously defending the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship against the popular star at Crown Jewel 2023.

Two months later, Knight challenged for Reigns’ title again, alongside AJ Styles and Randy Orton in a four-way match at Royal Rumble 2024.

With there being a lot of discourse recently about the possibility of LA Knight holding a world title in WWE, it will be very interesting to see how both stars are presented in their match on October 10.

Solo Sikoa

After losing to Jey Uso on the prior week’s episode, Roman Reigns called for Solo Sikoa to rejoin the Bloodline on the August 17 edition of Raw.

Instead of falling in line, Sikoa attacked Reigns, and took out the rest of the Bloodline with help from LA Knight.

Reigns and Sikoa previously feuded in 2024, with the Tribal Heir taking over the Bloodline in Reigns’ absence following his loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40.

With Reigns reasserting himself as the Tribal Chief by defeating Sikoa in Tribal Combat in January 2025, we could be about to see the next chapter in this family rivalry written.

CM Punk

Roman Reigns defeated CM Punk in the main event of WWE WrestleMania 42 in April, to win the World Heavyweight Championship.

After over a month away from the ring, CM Punk won the Undisputed WWE Championship from Sami Zayn on the July 6 Raw episode, in his first match back.

Now that Punk has lost SmackDown’s top prize, we could see the former champion vie for a rematch against the OTC, who had claimed that he was too old to succeed as a world champion ahead of their WrestleMania clash.

With that match being so highly praised, another clash between Reigns and Punk would be welcomed by the fanbase.

Cody Rhodes

In the main event of WrestleMania 39, Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes to retain his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.

In the main event of WrestleMania 40, Cody Rhodes finished his story by defeating Roman Reigns, ending the OTC’s 1316 day championship reign.

Reigns and Rhodes have teamed up in two matches since then, with the duo defeating Jacob Fatu & Solo Sikoa at Bad Blood 2024, and being on the same side in the five-on-five WarGames match at Survivor Series 2025.

Nevertheless, both stars have teased having a rubber match, to determine the winner of this WrestleMania rivalry.
