The current WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer is red-hot at the minute, but her entire run in WWE has been epic overall.

From her surprise debut at a house show to her shock title win also away from the WWE TV cameras, Stephanie Vaquer has seen some incredible moments already in her relatively short time in the company.

While the in-ring veteran brought a ton of skills from CMLL, NJPW and even AEW before joining WWE, she has already made some amazing moments in just two short years.

Debut in Mexico City

Stephanie Vaquer made her WWE in-ring debut at a live event in Mexico City on July 13, 2024.

While fans were hopeful that the former CMLL Women’s World Champion would sign with WWE, the reveal came as a bit of a surprise to those assuming she would become All Elite instead.

A month prior, Vaquer was still holding the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship when she made her AEW debut, confronting Mercedes Mone before their subsequent bout at AEW Forbidden Door

After an impressive match in AEW, some fans were certain that she was poised to sign with Tony Khan before it was revealed that she had in fact signed with WWE.

Noting the achievement as the realization of a childhood dream, Stephanie Vaquer’s rise to the top in WWE was just beginning.

NXT Women’s Championship win

After making a debut in NXT in late September 2024, Stephanie Vaquer wouldn’t be without a title for long.

First capturing the NXT North American Women’s Championship from Fallon Henley to become only the third woman to ever hold the title, she set her sights on the NXT Championship.

Taking on fellow veteran Giulia at NXT Roadblock for the honor, Vaquer would end up capturing gold and leave the event as a double champion ruling over NXT.

WWE Women’s World Championship win in Chile

In what would end up being a legendary title change that happened off of WWE TV, Stephanie Vaquer would have an incredible return to her hometown of Santiago, Chile earlier this month.

Taking on Liv Morgan for the title, Vaquer happened to have a little bit of help from an intriguing referee for the bout in Becky Lynch.

Definitely leading to a historic moment — with a raucous crowd reaction that matched the gravity of the moment, Vaquer’s time on top of the WWE Women’s division seems to be just beginning.

Return to Mexico City

Just over two years after making her debut at a live event in Mexico City, Stephanie Vaquer was able to return in a major way.

Marking her first appearance on WWE TV since besting Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s World Championship, Vaquer shared her thoughts in Spanish to the captivated crowd with WWE Raw GM Adam Pearce and AAA GM Rey Mysterio looking on.

While there are certainly several major feuds that could be headed Vaquer’s way now that she’s on top of the WWE Raw women’s division — it doesn’t seem that Liv Morgan is letting up anytime soon.

With Vaquer recently suffering a beatdown at the hands of the Judgment Day after teaming with El Grande Americano in a match against Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio, there could be a major trios bout coming soon also featuring Rey Mysterio who was caught up in the melee.
