Bronson Reed has addressed Oba Femi knocking away his foot during the Monday, September 7 episode of WWE Raw.

Bronson Reed made his return to WWE after a seven month injury layoff at Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6, and made an immediate statement in doing so when he laid out Oba Femi during his match with The Vision stablemate Bron Breakker.

After delivering four Tsunamis to Femi at the event one night later Reed added to that total buy giving ‘The Ruler’ another three, as The Vision left WWE’s ‘Next Big Thing’ laying out for the second night running.

In a moment that went viral afterwards, Reed looked to assert his dominance over Femi by placing his foot on his downed rival but the Nigerian swiftly knocked it away much to Reed’s clear surprise.

Speculation and backstage reports regarding the seemingly unplanned incident followed, and during an interview with The West Sport, Reed discussed the reaction to what went down:

“I think you’ve got to remember I am the top dog. I’m always going to assert dominance and that’s what I’m gonna try to do. He’s very much the same that’s why he hit my foot off.

“So if people have speculation about these things then go for it, speculate. But of course both of us wanna be number one and we’re gonna do whatever it takes to be number one.”

Bronson Reed “gunning for the top” by targeting Oba Femi

With Femi ascending to a top spot whilst Reed was on the shelf, the Australian star explained how this motivated his decision to make ‘The Ruler’ his target:

“I always think in the business that we’re in people are always gunning to take your spot and while I was away for those six months I made sure to watch Monday nights every single week and I saw the rise of Oba Femi and how much he’s become a big part of WWE.

“He’s one of the mainstays now and I think you should always be gunning for the top. So if that’s what’s happened in these last six months, that’s who I’m targeting.”

The Vision vs. Oba Femi rivalry had a week off on this Monday’s WWE Raw (September 14) however, the two sides did meet in the ring in a dark match after Raw went off the air.

As they have been on occasion during WWE live events, Femi teamed with LA Knight to take on Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed – with the match being Reed’s first in-ring appearance since suffering his torn bicep injury back in February.
