We’ve seen several WWE stars return in recent weeks, from Bronson Reed at Sunday Night’s Main Event, to Bayley on Raw.

With Reed returning from injury after six months away, there has been some speculation about other stars stepping back into the ring following injury hiatuses.

Between Raw, SmackDown and NXT, there are several stars who we could see get physical for the first time in months.

Here are four stars who are currently out of action due to injuries, and how close they are to returning.

Logan Paul

Logan Paul hasn’t wrestled since defending the World Tag Team Championship alongside Austin Theory against the Street Profits at the May 23 Saturday Night’s Main Event special.

Paul suffered a torn tricep during this match, which required surgery. The former US Champion has been appearing alongside The Vision on WWE TV in recent months, but has avoided physicality while recovering.

Recovery seems to have went well for Logan Paul, who stated in July that he was three months ahead of schedule.

With physical therapist Kevin Wilk stating in late-August that Paul was looking great, and was eager to get back into the ring, we’re likely very close to seeing the Vision member return to action.

Elio LeFleur

Having signed with WWE in October 2025, Elio LeFleur was making a name for himself as a champion when he got put on the shelf due to an unfortunate injury.

LeFleur last wrestled in eight-man tag-team action at the March 20 non-televised live event, in a match which saw him suffer a shoulder injury.

The WWE Speed Champion at the time of injury, Elio vacated the title during the March 31 edition of NXT, noting that a torn labrum and ligaments were expected to keep him out of action for six months.

It has been five months since LeFleur successfully underwent surgery in early-April, meaning that we’re likely at the tail-end of the French star’s injury absence.

Brie Bella

The Bella Twins have been unfortunate with injuries this year, with Brie Bella getting hurt during Nikki Bella’s return match at SummerSlam.

While teaming with Nikki and Paige against Fatal Influence, Brie Bella suffered a broken scapula (shoulder blade), which she previously noted was expected to keep her out of action from three to six months.

In August a few days after suffering the injury, Brie stated that she would be getting X-rays every two weeks to make sure she’s healing, and her return would be dependent on how her scapula heals.

With it being seven weeks since SummerSlam, we will likely learn more about Brie’s recovery and return timeline in the coming weeks and months.

Rhea Ripley

There is a lot more uncertainty surrounding Rhea Ripley, who is currently out of action recovering from knee surgery.

Rhea Ripley’s latest televised match saw her defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill at Clash In Italy, with her most recent in-ring outing being a six-woman tag match at the June 3 non-televised house show in Portugal.

With Ripley announcing a knee injury following this, an interim WWE Women’s Champion was crowned at SummerSlam, with Chelsea Green victorious in the championship ladder match.

With WWE.com recognising Chelsea Green as the official WWE Women’s Champion since August 2, there is some uncertainty surrounding Rhea Ripley, whose reign also ended on August 2, per the site.

The timeline for Ripley’s return is currently unclear, however when she does come back, it will be interesting to see how she fits back into the championship picture.
