One of the most heartbreaking moments at the AEW All Out pay-per-view came in the AEW World Championship match, when The Acclaimed came up short in their opportunity to capture the titles from Swerve in our Glory.
The fans didn’t let the Acclaimed’s defeat slow them down, as Max Caster and Anthony Bowens were quickly announced for a rematch at the AEW Grand Slam special episode of Dynamite.
Swerve Strickland has quickly become one of the most hated members of the AEW roster in recent weeks due to his disrespect to the Acclaimed, and preventing Caster’s rap on Dynamite two weeks ago.
On tonight’s AEW Grand Slam show, The Acclaimed managed to unseat Swerve in our Glory to capture the AEW World Tag Team Championship for the first time.
