Adam Cole Gives Honest Review Of Pat McAfee WrestleMania 38 Match WWE

AEW star Adam Cole has given his honest review of his former rival Pat McAfee’s WrestleMania 38 match against Austin Theory.

Adam Cole and Pat McAfee feuded on NXT back in 2020, leading to two matches. First, Cole defeated McAfee at NXT TakeOver 30 and then the two men clashed at NXT WarGames in the titular matchup captaining opposing teams.

Speaking with Stephanie Chase, Adam Cole was asked about Pat McAfee’s WrestleMania 38 showdown against Austin Theory and his wrestling potential.

Cole replied:

“As a person, he’s a dirtbag, can’t stand him, but if I look objectively and talk about how much potential he has, Pat McAfee blows my mind. He is so athletically gifted. As far as the wrestling part, he’s done great. Everyone knows he can talk for hours and is super compelling and interesting. Pat knocked it out of the park, he did an amazing job. As far as potential of where he can go and what he can do in the pro wrestling industry, I think he can go as far as he wants to, seriously. To me, it was one of the highlights of the entire weekend, Pat’s match. He’s a terrible person, but a lot of potential.”

Adam Cole has qualified for the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament by defeating NJPW’s Tomohiro Ishii on last Friday’s AEW Rampage.
