Adam Cole Discusses MJF & Samoa Joe Brawl At AEW All Out 2023 JJ Williams

Adam Cole has now commented on the confrontation between AEW World Champion MJF and ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe at All Out.

In the opening match of the September 3 pay-per-view, Cole and MJF defended their ROH Tag Team Title in a match against Alex Reynolds and John Silver.

Before the champions could leave the arena, Samoa Joe started to make his entrance for his ROH TV Title bout.

While passing MJF on the ramp, Samoa Joe shoved him, similar to how Joe pushed MJF who was working as a security guard extra at NXT TakeOver Brooklyn II.

While Adam Cole tried to talk MJF down, the AEW World Champion ran after Joe and a brawl ensued.

In a digital exclusive interview, Cole noted admitted that MJF can’t control himself at times.

Addressing the incident, he said:

“Max gets a little ahead of himself sometimes. As we were on our way to go check on the doctor, to go get Max checked out, Samoa Joe decides to make a statement.

“Samoa Joe decides to push Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Of course, Max can’t control himself. Max, you are one of the best pro wrestlers in the world. Sometimes, it’s so important that a guy like me is there to remind you, sometimes you gotta play it smart.

“Sometimes, you gotta play things a little safe. Max will be back to 100% in no time, I can promise you that. I’m excited, I’m elated to be one-half of the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions.

“But right now, I’m concerned for my friend, so I appreciate your time, but I’m gonna go check on my best friend.”

MJF has since shared a message for Samoa Joe which you can read right here.
