WWE made a big announcement on last night’s (February 25) episode of SmackDown, when it was announced that Vince McMahon himself will be appearing on the Pat McAfee show next Thursday.
McAfee recently had Brock Lesnar on his show, which was also not the first time that he had featured a wrestler on the show. During his 2020 feud with Adam Cole in NXT, the two shot an angle on Pat’s show.
McAfee and Cole have continued to exchange shots at each other after the feud ended, including when Cole jumped over to AEW last September.
Cole commented on McAfee announcing McMahon for his show, saying:
I dare @PatMcAfeeShow to welcome me back to his dumb podcast. I’d be a total pro.
No? Yea that’s what I thought. You’re a coward Pat.
McMahon’s appearance on the McAfee Show is reportedly set to kickstart a feud for WrestleMania season, with it potentially leading to Vince McMahon wrestling McAfee on the show.
I dare @PatMcAfeeShow to welcome me back to his dumb podcast. I’d be a total pro. 🙏
No? Yea that’s what I thought. You’re a coward Pat. 🖕
