AEW has announced an injury to one of their most popular women’s stars on tonight’s AEW Dynamite.
On tonight’s show, TBS Champion Jade Cargill defeated new AEW women’s trainer Madison Rayne in her Dynamite debut to extend her undefeated record to 36-0.
Following the match, Cargill was chased off by Athena, who was without Kris Statlander.
We then cut to an interview with Thunder Rosa and Toni Storm, when Tony Schiavone announced that Statlander was out of action with an injury, making Storm the new number one contender.
Toni then spoke about her match on next week’s Dynamite against KiLynn King.
If you’re in the UK but didn’t manage to get tickets to Clash at the Castle on September 3, WrestleTalk is hosting a watch party at The Joiner on Worship in Shoreditch, London, and we’d love for you to join us! Click here for more details.
