Chris Jericho Uses Popular Rock Bands To Compare Inner Circle & Jericho Appreciation Society AEW

Chris Jericho has compared two AEW factions with two of the greatest rock bands of all time to highlight the evolution.

From the start of his time in AEW, Chris Jericho has been a team player, first with The Inner Circle and now with the Jericho Appreciation Society.

Jericho compared the two stables on Battleground Podcast, comparing and contrasting what they offered, saying:

“I think when The Inner Circle was first formed, it had almost a Guns N’ Roses vibe to me.

“We had five guys that had completely different looks, yet when you put them together, it looked cohesive and cool.

“The first group picture we took, I said, ‘That looks really cool. There’s five different guys, but everyone fits.’ And it was much more of a wild pack of dogs, I think with The Inner Circle.”

“I think the Jericho Appreciation Society is much more finesse. I think the Jericho Appreciation Society is much more character.

“And also too, to me, if the Inner Circle’s Guns N’ Roses, the JAS is the Rolling Stones.

“We’ve got chicks in the band now, we’ve got an extra guitar player so to speak, with the six guys.”

The Inner Circle consisted of Jericho, MJF, Wardlow, Sammy Guevara, Santana, Ortiz and Jake Hager.

The current membership of the Jericho Appreciation Society is Jericho, Guevara, Hager, Daniel Garcia, Angelo Parker, Matt Menard, Tay Melo and Anna Jay A.S.

Jericho would also discuss the way in which both factions have served their main goal, spotlighting newer stars to the wrestling fanbase.

In the podcast, Jericho would also discuss the decision for AEW All In to take place at Wembley Stadium in London.
