
The AEW in-ring debut of former NXT star EJ Nduka has been announced, following rumors about a potential WWE return.
On Tuesday’s (February 7) edition of AEW Dark, Nduka will face off against rising star Konosuke Takeshita in singles action.
It was reported in January that several companies, including WWE, were interested in signing Nduka. It was later confirmed that a free agent, following his MLW contract expiring on January 1.
Nduka signed with WWE in 2018 and only wrestled a handful of house show matches before he was let go by the company in early 2021.
The free agent has now commented on his AEW debut, tweeting:
I guess lighting struck twice. Two matches tonight. The Judge is back on your screens.

– Dalton Castle vs. Dante Casanova

– RUSH vs. Aiden Park
– The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) vs. Logan Cruz & Tyshaun Perez
AEW Dark airs every Tuesday on the AEW YouTube channel.
