Major Hint For CM Punk Return On AEW Dynamite

After surprise returns from Miro and Thunder Rosa already appearing at Tony Khan’s office tonight, the AEW CEO made an important announcement.

Of an upcoming announcement of course.

Noting that in addition to the big card AEW Dynamite has in store tonight, there are clearly plenty of big stars just lined up waiting for an opportunity.

Khan invited fans to be sure to not miss next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite where more would be revealed about an upcoming big announcement.

Earlier a vignette setting up the 4 Pillars AEW World Championship bout at Double or Nothing live on pay-per-view, MJF did something that no man (or woman) had done on AEW television since after the fateful events after AEW All Out.

MJF said the name, “CM Punk” in reference to the epic matches that he has had in AEW but nevertheless, the first time we’ve heard his name since September 2022.

If you add all of these signs together, it seems to potentially be the recipe for the upcoming debut of AEW Collision on Saturday nights, which would feature a returning Punk, and by the looks of things, Thunder Rosa and Miro as well.

With what has been touted to be “one of the most epic nights in AEW history,” there is a massive card in store including a big steel cage match pitting eternal foes Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega against each other for another round.

AEW Dynamite is set for a big night in Detroit tonight (May 10) with the massive card as follows:

No Holds Barred – Julia Hart vs. Anna Jay

Open House Rules match for the AEW Trios Championship – House of Black (c) vs. Bandido & Best Friends

AEW International Championship – Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Daniel Garcia

Double Jeopardy Match – Claudio Castagnoli vs. Rey Fenix

Steel Cage Match – Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley
