Paul Wight Makes Hilarious Appearance On AEW Dynamite

Paul Wight Makes Hilarious Appearance On AEW Dynamite AEW

There was a hilarious cameo appearance on tonight’s AEW Dynamite (September 27) in a pre-taped segment with MJF and Adam Cole.

With MJF and Adam Cole just a couple of ‘Boat Bros’ hanging out in New York, they caught more than they bargained for.

While sitting out on a boat fishing, the pair got a very big bite with the camera panning reveal that the duo caught: Captain Insano!

With Paul Wight seen floating on a giant floating rubber duck, he gets ‘caught’ my Adam Cole and MJF, eventually joining them on the boat for a beer.

Elsewhere in the segment, MJF teased turning on Cole in a dastardly fashion, putting on the Dynamite diamond ring behind Cole’s back, seemingly priming to attack him in response to Adam having more than one friend.

With Adam Cole reassuring MJF that having more than one friend was totally appropriate, MJF agreed to support Cole but also added that last time he tried to dump a motherf**ker overboard, he almost got caught anyway so…

Adam Cole’s outrage and confusion at Max’s last statement was broken when the pair caught Captain Insano.

Echoing concerns for injury, Cole appeared in the vignette on crutches. Cole was injured after a bad landing while jumping off the ramp during a run out at AEW Dynamite Grand Slam.

It was later announced on tonight’s Dynamite that Cole isn’t able to work WrestleDream this Sunday, and instead MJF will defend the ROH World Tag Team Championship against The Righteous in a handicap match on his own.
