Title Vs. Mask Match Confirmed For AEW Dynasty AEW

A Title vs. Mask Match has been confirmed for the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view set to take place on April 6 in Philadelphia.

On the March 26 episode of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho issued a challenge to Bandido for this high-stakes match.

This came after Jericho defeating Bandido to retain the ROH World Championship on the February 22 episode of AEW Dynamite, with the champion set to put his title on the line once again.

However, should Bandido lose the match, Jericho demanded that he would also be forced to remove his luchador mask.

The match has now been confirmed by Tony Khan, who tweeted:

ROH World Title vs Mask

@IAmJericho vs @bandidowrestler

Bandido has accepted the challenge and he will risk his mask vs the title of his vicious rival, the ROH World Champion Chris Jericho at AEW Dynasty on ppv THIS SUNDAY!

AEW Revolution Zero Hour on March 9 saw Jericho go to extremes during his ROH World Championship match against Gravity, Bandido’s brother.

Attacking his opponent with a baseball bat before the match got started, Big Bill and Bryan Keith would join in the beatdown.

Bandido would make the save, only to be attacked by the three Learning Tree members who would then deliver more brutality, with Jericho eventually tearing the mask from Gravity’s head and wielding it as a symbol.

All of this was witnessed by the mother and sister of the sibling stars, with Bandido prevented from doing anything.
