An AEW name has teased a spectacular surprise in the AEW Fight Forever video game that he can’t wait for the internet to discover!
After this first AEW pay-per-view in Las Vegas after having become All Elite himself, former professional wrestling podcaster (and multiple time QuizzleMania guest!) Will Washington got another exciting opportunity.
On Twitter, Washington shared that he had not only gotten to experience some of the AEW Fight Forever gameplay, he also was aware of an enjoyable Easter egg he can’t wait for other fans to discover.
Washington writing:
“I finally got to play #AEWFightForever this past weekend. Legit, as a gamer, I think the gameplay nails the essence of the classic wrestling titles I still view as the GOAT.
“Also there’s an Easter egg in the game that’s so good and I cannot wait for the internet to find it 🤭
“I really loved how naturally the controls came to me. Ten seconds into playing it with @EvilUno, who’s spent far more time with the game than I have, and I felt like I held my own
“That pick-up-and-playability is something I’ve missed”
Very exciting! Even more exciting is that fans will not have to wait long to finally be able to get their hands on the game for themselves.
AEW Fight Forever is the long awaited debut console game coming to fans from All Elite Wrestling.
While several game play clips were shared over Double or Nothing 2023 weekend, including confirming that Mr. Brodie Lee is in the game as a playable character and more detailed look at some of the characters, the rest of the world will get to see for themselves very soon.
Recently AEW has announced that the game will be released on June 29, 2023.
The game will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch consoles.
