AEW Star Becomes Permanent US Resident

AEW Star Becomes Permanent US Resident AEW

On Thanksgiving, Ethan Page gave thanks to AEW and Matt Jackson, revealing that he was now a permanent resident of the USA.

Canada-born Page signed with AEW in March 2021, initially feuding with Darby Allin and Sting, forming the team Men of the Year with Scorpio Sky.

He would also be involved in the The Firm led by Stokely Hathaway before Matt Hardy took over his contract at Double or Nothing’s Buy In show in May 2023.

His highest profile match saw him challenge for the AEW World Championship on the July 1, 2023, episode of Collision, losing to MJF.

In a Thanksgiving post on Twitter, Page shared the news of his green card status while giving thanks to AEW, writing:

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone lucky to call USA their home

As of a few days ago, I’m one of those very lucky people

I’m officially a Green Card holder & a proud permanent resident of the United States of America 🇺🇸

So today I’m especially thankful for @AEW – they helped make this dream come true. For sponsoring me & my family. For giving me this opportunity in America. Thank you all.

I’ve said this to Matt Jackson many times, but him offering me a job with AEW has changed not only my life, but my entire families life (probably for generations)

One of my biggest life goals has been accomplished & I’m thankful for every person who played a part. The good & the bad.

Now, I feel like my future is truly unlimited. The freedom to create any future I want for myself & my family.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone 🇺🇸❤️

Also, watch @ringofhonor tonight. I’ve gotten into the best shape of my life & been fine tuning my skills in the ring. Check it out.

Recently, Page has been prominently featured in ROH, including teaming with Isiah Kassidy to take on Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) for the ROH World Tag Team Championship in August on AEW Rampage.
