AEW Star Calls Himself ‘The Future Greatest Professional Wrestler Of All Time’ AEW

An AEW star has referred to himself as the “future greatest professional wrestler of all time” following his win at WrestleDream.

In the TNT Championship match at WrestleDream that was the fifth in a series of matches between the two men, Kyle Fletcher retained his title against Mark Briscoe.

In post-match comments shared by AEW after the match, Fletcher and his manager Don Callis gave their thoughts, with Fletcher notably calling himself the “future greatest professional wrestler of all time” and the “best professional wrestler on God’s green today.”

First, Callis said:

“Kyle Fletcher. Genetic Flowsion. This is the next level of professional athlete, and we showed it when you beat a great opponent in Mark Briscoe, but he could not overcome these genetics and this championship.”

Fletcher then added:

“Great is a good word to describe Mark Briscoe. He is a great competitor, but he is not ‘The Protostar.’ He is not the future greatest professional wrestler of all time. He is not the best professional wrestler on God’s green today. That is your TNT Champion. That is ‘The Protostar’ Kyle Fletcher.

“And this title, I’ve said it every single time, six defenses now, it is not going anywhere for a very, very, very, very, very long time. So Mark Briscoe, congratulations, you stepped up, you brought everything you had and it was still not good enough.

“So now, for me, for the Don Callis Family, it is onto the next, looking forward past Mark Briscoe, and onto the greener grass baby. ‘The Protostar,’ the TNT Champion is here to stay. So get ready to say my full name.”
