Eddie Kingston Teases Matches Against Big Japanese Stars AEW

AEW’s Eddie Kingston may have ‘technically’ left the company back in early March, quitting following his appearance in the Face of the Revolution Ladder match, however he is still a Tony Khan employee, only now seemingly exclusive to the Ring of Honor brand for now.

Kingston would unfortunately come up short in his quest for the ROH World Title against Claudio Castagnoli at ROH’s Supercard of Honor show on March 31, and has not as of yet appeared on any AEW or ROH programming since.

And now it seems that Kingston may have his eyes on wrestling elsewhere yet again, as speaking to Dark Puroresu Flowsion, Kingston would reveal his aspirations to compete in Japan.

As revealed via their Twitter, Dark Puroresu Flowsion would reveal Kingston’s four most desired Japanese opponents that he wishes to wrestle in the future.

The names included:

– KENTA

– Go Shiozaki

– Hiroshi Tanahashi

– Masa Kitamiya

While some of the names Kingston revealed could take place under AEW’s roof, specifically at June’s Forbidden Door 2, as he noted in his final pick Kitayama, a move to Japan could also be a possibility.

Kingston’s controversial relationship with fellow AEW star Sammy Guevara was recently featured on AEW’s new reality show AEW All Access, to find out more click here.
