MJF Claims The Mic Gives WWE Hall Of Famer A ‘Panic Attack’ AEW

AEW’s MJF has compared himself to a WWE Hall of Famer and it’s not particularly favorable for the object of the comparison.

Speaking on the WTF with Marc Maron podcast (subscription required), MJF looked at the legacy of Goldberg and drew unfavorable conclusions, saying:

“If you’re a Jew, you love MJF because, if you think about it, I’m really the first prolific world champion that just so happens to be Jewish in the history of the business that is good at talking and wrestling.

“[I] love Bill Goldberg to death, but [if] you put a mic in front of his mouth, he kind of has a bit of a panic attack.”

It had previously been reported that Goldberg was able to cut a promo unscripted on WWE TV as he shared a similar deal to Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman when it comes to creative freedoms.

In December 2022, it was reported that Goldberg’s contract with WWE was set to end in 2022 and that a further contract hadn’t, at that time, been signed.

Jeff Jarrett had also recently spoken about why Goldberg didn’t find his way to Impact Wrestling, saying “there isn’t enough money” for Goldberg to sign with the company.
