AEW Star Pitches Idea To Make Shows More Entertaining AEW

Matt Hardy has pitched a way that he feels AEW’s television production could be made more entertaining for its viewers.

Hardy recently spoke about the work that Adam Cole and MJF have been doing, noting that it left fans wanting to tune in to see where it was going.

Speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, he suggested that vignettes could be used to enhance characters through the art of storytelling, saying:

“Personally, that’s my tick. Once again, I don’t own the company, I’m not paying the bills, so at the end of the day, it’s just my opinion when it’s all said and done.

“But I think if you look back at the stuff MJF and Adam Cole did, extremely entertaining vignettes, an interesting relationship, and it left you wanting to tune in because you’re not sure where it’s going to go next.”

MJF and Adam Cole are best friends on-screen, as has been well documented through their various vignettes and in-ring interaction.

Wardlow has recently commented on the partnership, advising Adam Cole to “pull the trigger” first.

Speaking further on the partnership between Cole and MJF, Hardy went on to say:

“I think that’s the perfect synergy for taking a couple of characters — and both of them were perfect in the roles, right — and letting something play out where the story is what sucks the people in.

“And then when you have a great match on top of that, that’s the icing on the cake.”

Adam Copeland has recently discussed the creative freedom that AEW has given Christian Cage.

Bryan Danielson has also opened up about his AEW creative role following reports that he was part of the Collision creative team.

Eddie Kingston has also discussed a role in AEW creative, but was less enamored with the idea.
