For tonight’s AEW Rampage, AEW CEO Tony Khan has just announced a big grudge match set to take place in San Francisco!
Ahead of AEW’s pay-per-view, AEW Revolution this Sunday, Tony Khan has added another match to tonight’s already stacked edition of AEW Rampage.
The last change to get in battles and verbal jousting before the pay-per-view is upon us and two old foes are getting to square off.
Khan tweeting that AEW Rampage would feature a match between Riho and a longtime rival, Emi Sakura.
Writing on Twitter, Khan wrote:
“TONIGHT
Friday Night #AEWRampage San Francisco, CA @cowpalacesf
LIVE on @TNTdrama 10pm ET/9pm CT
“@riho_gtmv vs @EmiSakura_gtmv
“After a huge win in her return to AEW Wednesday on Dynamite, former World Champion Riho will fight her longtime rival Emi Sakura live on TNT TONIGHT!”
Also announced for tonight’s Rampage, a tag team match between a new pairing and some old rivals.
Naturally Limitless (Dustin Rhodes and Keith Lee) are set to face off against Mogul Affiliates (Swerve Strickland and Parker Boudreaux) on Rampage.
Also announced, a four-way match between several of AEW’s top teams when the Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) take on Top Flight (Dante and Darius Martin), Aussie Open (Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher), and Dark Order (John Silver and Alex Reynolds).
