A free agent has confirmed she has signed with AEW.
In 2022, top independent star Billie Starkz had started working on AEW Dark and eventually made her debut on main programming.
This year has seen Starkz used more and become a prominent act alongside ROH Women’s World Champion Athena on Ring of Honor TV.
In April, Tony Schiavone revealed that All Elite Wrestling had signed Starkz, but there wasn’t an All Elite graphic or word from Billie to confirm.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Starkz was asked about her contract status with the company and if she was full-time. She answered:
“I am a signed talent at AEW.”
Starkz teamed with Athena, Keith Lee and former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Satoshi Kojima to defeat Mercedes Martinez, Diamante, Lee Moriarty and Shane Taylor on the AEW WrestleDream Zero Hour.
When asked about her experience at AEW WrestleDream, Billie answered:
“It was amazing. I’m glad that I got to be with my mentor, the Bread Man, and Keith Lee.”
“I had a really great team and I was really excited to be facing our opponents.”
“I got to see Lee Moriarty across the ring again, who is a really good friend of mine. It was exciting to see him get beat up.”
Billie Starkz is set to face Trish Adora on the October 5 episode of ROH TV on Honor Club.
WrestleTalk would like to congratulate Billie Starkz on her new contract.
