AEW Star Accuses ‘D**khead’ Roster Member Of ‘Politicking’ For Success

AEW Star Accuses ‘D**khead’ Roster Member Of ‘Politicking’ For Success AEW

An AEW star has accused a fellow roster member of “politicking” in order to gain their success in the company.

This week’s Dynamite from North Charleston, SC is set to see a clash between two well-travelled veterans of the industry, as Christian Cage defends his TNT Championship against ‘The Natural’ Dustin Rhodes.

With Cage currently on a run for the ages as ‘The Patriarch’, it seems as if his heelish antics have also perhaps extended to behind-the-scenes, according to a scathing message from his soon-to-be challenger on Dynamite.

Taking to Twitter, Rhodes blasted Cage, labelling him a “kiss ass” before throwing some accusations regarding how he’s attained the success he has.

Rhodes said:

I hear the odds are not in my favor. THEY HAVE NEVER BEEN IN MY FAVOR, but I will say this @Christian4Peeps, my whole career I have had to fight for everything I have and this is no different.

The difference between you and me is, you’re a kiss ass who politicked his way into everything, I fight for it with grit, and determination which is something you don’t have.

Cage’s match with Rhodes will be the first of his second-reign as TNT Champion, which began on the same night his first run with the belt ended; that being AEW Worlds End on December 30.

Despite Rhodes stepping up to Cage on Dynamite, it seems as if former TNT Champion Adam Copeland is far from done with his former tag team partner; making as much clear on the most recent edition of AEW Collision (January 13).
