Top AEW Star Provides Injury Update On Kyle O’Reilly AEW

A top AEW star has provided an injury update on Kyle O’Reilly.

In December 2021, Kyle O’Reilly joined his former Undisputed Era stablemate Adam Cole in All Elite Wrestling. The pair have been aligned or feuded with another for the better part of the past decade from their time in Ring of Honor to WWE and now AEW.

The former Undisputed Era members were both sidelined in 2022 with Cole suffering a concussion, while O’Reilly has been recovering from neck surgery.

Cole has since returned in 2023, but O’Reilly has remained absent from AEW programming for over a year now.

During a recent appearance for Inside The Ropes, Adam Cole was asked for an update on his friend and former rival. He answered:

“All I can say is Kyle is continuing to push forward. This has been a very long and very, very tough process for him. But he’s a warrior.”

“Again, there’s nothing that Kyle loves more than pro wrestling, and he’s doing everything that he can to make sure that he’s getting healthy and getting back to a point where he can return to the ring.”

“Obviously, there’s still no timetable on when he’s going to be able to come back, but Kyle is progressing.”

“He’s getting better every single week, and just like the rest of the world, I can’t wait till Kyle O’Reilly gets back. I miss him so much.”

Adam Cole is one half of the current ROH World Tag Team Champions with AEW World Champion MJF. Better Than You Bay Bay will defend the titles against The Righteous this Sunday, October 1 at AEW WrestleDream.
