AEW Star In Support Of CM Punk Return, Believes He Did ‘Nothing Wrong’ AEW

We have not seen CM Punk on AEW television since the now infamous AEW All Out media scrum and subsequent backstage altercation with the Elite.

Punk also suffered an injury during his AEW World Championship victory over Jon Moxley in the show’s main event, which would have sidelined him from AEW television for months regardless.

Dave Meltzer noted recently that Punk would be available to return to the company ‘in a few months’ should the company opt to bring him back.

One AEW star who seemingly believes that Punk should be brought back into the fold is Brody King, who took to Twitter to like a tweet in support of Punk returning to the company.

The tweet read:

My toxic trait is I don’t think cm punk did anything wrong and should come back the conquering hero Let’s goooooooo

The situation with CM Punk and AEW continues to be a talking point, with various top stars in the company, including Chris Jericho, noting that they would ‘make sure’ Punk wasn’t brought back into the company.
