Popular AEW Star Addresses Pending Contract Expiration AEW

Popular AEW star Daniel Garcia has addressed his pending contract expiration ahead of his TNT Championship Match with Christian Cage.

Daniel Garcia is currently riding a wave of momentum on AEW programming following his impressive efforts in the Continental Classic tournament.

Since then, Garcia teamed with FTR to defeat House of Black in a Steel Cage Match and took Adam Copeland to the limit in a TNT Title Number One Contenders Match.

In January, Garcia revealed that his AEW contract was set to expire some time in 2024.

Speaking on ROAR Around The Ring, Daniel Garcia was asked about his contract status with All Elite Wrestling. He answered:

“I’m gonna deal with it when I need to. I’m focusing on the subject at hand, and the subject at hand right now is the TNT Championship,”

Garcia is set to challenge Christian Cage for the TNT Championship at this Sunday’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view.

When asked to describe where his match with Christian ranked importance-wise in his career, Garcia replied:

“I feel like I’m at a point in my career where every match that I have feels like it’s the biggest match I’ve ever had in my life.”

“Everything that I have feels like an opportunity to prove myself, it feels like an opportunity to step into my own greatness.”

“I feel like everything that I do right now is vitally important to the rest of my career. So this is definitely up there as far as an overarching view of biggest matches of my career.”

“I think this is one that I’ll look back on in 20 years and say, man, this was a big turning point for Danny Garcia,”
