An AEW star has revealed an injury that they suffered during their run in the Continental Classic tournament.
The inaugural AEW Continental Classic tournament concluded at AEW Worlds End, when Eddie Kingston defeated Jon Moxley to become the first-ever AEW Continental Crown Champion.
Taking to Twitter today, AEW star Rush revealed that he suffered a torn hamstring during his second match in the tournament against Mark Briscoe.
Rush said that he will be recovering from the injury after his recent All-Star Tag Team match at Worlds End.
He tweeted:
In the #AEWContinentalClassic I tore my hamstring in the second match I had.
I will recover and return ready and hungrier than ever for a fight.

Rush’s LFI stablemate Jose the Assistant recently took to Twitter, where he shared photos of an AEW star training alongside the members of the stable, teasing that he may join the faction.
We wish Rush a full and complete recovery from his injury.
