AEW star Adam Cole may be out of action with injury but he took time to thank fans for their support during his absence.
Adam Cole may be injured but he has still been factoring into AEW television, appearing both in-person as well as via some dubious ‘Facetime’ calls that appear on-screen during backstage interview segments with talent.
After being away from AEW Dynamite this week, Adam Cole took to social media to thank his fans for their on-going support amid his absence.
Cole wrote on Twitter:
“As I sit here injured, I feel grateful. And that is thanks to so many of you 🙏
“I can’t explain how much it means to have this type of support when going through something like this. Support is everything. You all have made this tough journey a little bit easier. Thank you ♥️”
With speculation still running amok regarding who could be underneath the hooded figures lurking around MJF (seemingly a ‘Devil’ and four accomplices), more clues were revealed on last night’s Dynamite.
With Tony Schiavone on commentary noting that the squad clearly had access to be able to take over ther production as far as ring lighting and displaying a message on screen, there was also the first in-ring appearance by the goons.
With MJF held back by three masked figures, a fourth appeared prone to attack him before he was saved by Samoa Joe.
Adam Cole remains one half of the ROH tag team champions along with MJF who continues to defend the titles in his absence.
