AEW Star Set For First Singles Match Since Heel Turn

AEW star Skye Blue is set for her first singles match since turning heel and aligning with TBS Champion Julia Hart.

On the December 16 edition of AEW Collision, Skye Blue turned heel by aligning with TBS Champion Julia Hart in attacking Abadon. However, Thunder Rosa came in to make the save.

The following week, Rosa made her in-ring return in a tag team win alongside Abadon against Blue and Hart.

On Wednesday afternoon, AEW announced that Skye Blue will face her former friend Kris Statlander in a singles match on tonight’s December 27 episode of Dynamite.

This two former friends and tag team partners had a falling out in the lead up to AEW Full Gear where Julia Hart went on to defeat Blue and Statlander to become TBS Champiun. This will mark Blue’s first singles bout since her official heel turn and alliance with Hart.

Also announced for tonight’s show, the AEW Continental Classic will near closer to its conclusion with the Gold and Blue League Finals.

In the Gold League Final, Swerve Strickland will face Jon Moxley and Jay White in a three-way match. Meanwhile, Bryan Danielson will face Eddie Kingston in the Blue League Final.
