AEW Star Makes Return After Eight Months

AEW Star Makes Return After Eight Months AEW

After eight months away from the ring after injury, Danhausen has made his AEW return on tonight’s episode of Dynamite.

In a backstage segment earlier on AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy noted that he had an announcement.

However he was interrupted by Wheeler Yuta who continued to taunt HOOK and Katsuyori Shibata who were appearing alongside Orange.

Renee Paquette then regretfully informed Cassidy they were out of time in the segment because of Yuta’s interruption.

With Orange Cassidy, HOOK and Katsuyori Shibata having a trios match against Jake Hager, ‘Daddy Magic’ Matt Menard and ‘Cool Hand’ Angelo Parker on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Cassidy made his announcement.

Grabbing the microphone before the match, he told the crowd that he had a Thanksgiving surprise.

The return video tease for Danhausen that had aired in weeks past played as commentary attempted to amp up the anticipation, wondering if it was really him.

It was indeed the ‘Very Nice, Very Evil’ Danhausen who made his return to cheer on the squad of Cassidy, HOOK and Shibata.

He proved to be integral in the match when he distracted Hager by donning his formerly beloved purple bucket hat.

As Hager chased him away, Danhausen ‘cursed’ Jake Hager who remained unable to get to his partners as HOOK and Shibata had both Parker and Menard in dueling choke holds.

We’ll certainly keep you up to date as to when Danhausen makes his in-ring return after having been away from in-ring action for over eight months.

Danhausen sustained a torn pectoral muscle at AEW Revolution in March.
