An AEW star has said that they regret the audience not ever being able to see this dream match so much, he loses sleep over it.
AEW star Ortiz has shared that there is a dream match for himself & Mike Santana (together apart of the group LAX) that never came to fruition in AEW that is so troubling to him, he still thinks about it.
Taking to Twitter, the half of the team that remains with AEW, Ortiz shared what dream match he regrets not being able to bring to the All Elite Wrestling fans.
Ortiz wrote:
“One of my biggest regrets in wrestling is the AEW audience not seeing LAX vs lucha bros. Man…I lose sleep over what we could have done given the opportunity.”
Interestingly in the replies, Konnan adds:
“huge dream match and I bought it up and was ignored.”
Recently Mike Santana announced that he is no longer with AEW.
Ortiz has not been seen on AEW television since January where he teamed with Eddie Kingston to take on the Blackpool Combat Club.
Half of the Lucha Brots, Penta made his Dynamite return for the first time since January as he teamed with PAC and Eddie Kingston against the Young Bucks and Kazuchika Okada.
Rey Fenix hasn’t been seen in AEW since losing the International Championship to Orange Cassidy in October 2023.
