Two AEW stars have teased a potential return to New Japan Pro Wrestling after their victory at today’s Wrestle Dynasty show.
The first-ever AEW x NJPW Wrestle Dynasty event took place in the Tokyo Dome earlier today, with a number of AEW stars making appearances in the Tokyo Dome.
Among those names were the ROH World Tag Team Champions Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara, who were in action against the House of Torture on the pre-show, retaining their titles.
After the match, Rhodes and Guevara spoke at the press conference, where they teased potentially returning to NJPW to capture the IWGP World Tag Team Championship.
The Young Bucks returned to the ring at Wrestle Dynasty, where they captured the IWGP World Tag Team Championship, defeating United Empire and Los Ingobernables de Japon in a three-way tag team match.
Mercedes Mone also captured a championship on the show, defeating Mina Shirakawa to retain the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship and become the new RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship.
