While speaking to Fightful, Colt Cabana has revealed that there were plans for him to feud with Mr. Brodie Lee (real name Jon Huber) before Lee’s tragic passing last year.
Cabana reluctantly joined The Dark Order in 2020 before becoming more receptive to the group, and the AEW star revealed that he was eventually going to feud with Brodie Lee.
Colt Cabana told Fightful that he actually pitched the storyline after Brodie Lee wrestled Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship at Double or Nothing in May of last year.
The former NJPW star told Fightful that he even “drew up a manuscript” to outline how he thought the feud should play out.
Brodie Lee tragically passed away before we were ever able to see him feud with Colt Cabana, which would have been something many fans would have liked to have seen.
