AEW Star Praises Lee Moriarty & Vows To Earn Respect AEW

AEW star and former ROH World TV Champion Shane Taylor has praised Lee Moriarty and vowed to earn respect.

On the January 20 edition of AEW Collision, Jon Moxley defeated Shane Taylor in a hard hitting opener.

This was a hard fought win for Moxley who made his return to the promotion. Meanwhile, the match served as the Collision debut for Taylor.

On January 21, All Elite Wrestling shared a video with their cameras catching up with Shane Taylor following his loss. He said:

“Let’s have a word. You know what, Moxley, let’s have a word. Lee Moriarty is the best young technical wrestler on the planet. Jericho passed up on him, Blackpool Combat Club passed up on him.”

“They took Garcia, they took Yuta. None of them could carry his jock. You left Lee Moriarty to the wolves, but the wolves have his back now.”

“Tonight, I didn’t give a damn about my Collision debut. It was about sending you a message. Nobody takes anything from STP. Nobody leaves us out of anything.”

“All of you will respect us. This industry will respect us, and we will do so by any means necessary. Rumble, young man, rumble,”

Taylor went on to repost the video and shared some additional thoughts. He wrote:

Every lesson we learn along the way is only making us stronger…and is only going to make our rise to the top that much sweeter.

Can’t say we didn’t warn you.
