An AEW star has teased challenging for the Trios Championship.
On the February 8 edition of AEW Dynamite, Ricky Starks ran the Garcia-Guevara gauntlet, facing multiple members of the Jericho Appreciation Society to face Chris Jericho. After interference from a masked Jericho, Daniel Garcia defeated Starks to end his run in the gauntlet.
It looks like the J.A.S. has a new goal in All Elite Wrestling after taking care of Ricky’s attempt at facing their leader one more time.
On Friday, Sammy Guevara posted on Twitter a photoshopped photo of himself, Garcia and Jericho under the name of “Les Tres Sex Gods” with the AEW World Trios Championships.
The Elite defeated AR Fox and Top Flight to retain the AEW World Trios Championships on last Wednesday’s Dynamite.
It remains to be seen who the next challengers for the titles will be following this latest defense.
On tonight’s AEW Rampage, The Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli will face Kip Sabian, The Butcher and The Blade in trios action.
