A former WWE and Impact Wrestling star has made a bit of a faux pas on social media according to Tony Khan.
Elijah Burke (D’Angelo Dinero to TNA fans) recently posted a message of support to Tony Khan as his team, the Jacksonville Jaguars face off against the Kansas City Chiefs..
Posting on his Twitter account, Burke would share a photo with the AEW owner and the caption:
“Pulling for my guy @TonyKhan and @Jaguars LET’S GO!!!”
A wonderful message of support, and much appreciated by Khan himself, although Tony Khan would point out:
“Thank you sir, but that’s definitely not me in that photo with you.”
Burke hasn’t yet responded to the case of mistaken identity, though others have been rather bemused by the situation.
The widely unexpected game between The Jaguars and The Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Round takes place on January 21 starting at 4.30pm ET.
It will be broadcast on NBCUniversal Peacock in the United States.
