AEW Trademarks Surrounding New Match Stipulation Revealed AEW

A new term related to AEW TV has potentially been revealed, with the company filing two new trademark applications.

It was previously announced that a ‘Meat Madness’ match will take place at Revolution, with Powerhouse Hobbs, Lance Archer and Wardlow set to face off against one another this Sunday (March 3).

Per the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), AEW filed an application to trademark the term “AEW: MEAT MADNESS” on February 26.

AEW also filed to trademark the term “AEW: MATCH MADNESS”. As of writing, AEW’s plans for this term are unclear.

The following descriptions accompanied both filings:

Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services in the nature of live wrestling performances; Entertainment services in the nature of production of wrestling programs and events;

Entertainment services, namely, an ongoing multimedia program featuring wrestling distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media;

Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of wrestling

AEW Revolution will feature Sting’s retirement match, with the Icon set to team with Darby Allin to face off against Matthew and Nicholas Jackson of the Young Bucks.
