AEW Personnel ‘Very, Very High’ On Popular Star

People in AEW are reportedly ‘very, very high’ on Christian Cage.

Recently, Christian Cage has been announcing himself as the TNT Champion, a title actually held by Luchasaurus, including carrying the title with him.

Dave Meltzer has revealed Cage’s current standing in AEW ahead of the TNT Title three-way match on Collision this coming Saturday where Luchasaurus will defend against Cage and Darby Allin.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said:

“I know that there are people very, very high on Christian right now, so that wouldn’t surprise me at all (Christian pinning Luchasaurus in the TNT Championship three-way match set for Collision that also features Darby Allin).”

Sting and Darby Allin will be facing Cage and Luchasaurus on AEW Rampage Grand Slam.

On the September 20 episode of AEW Dynamite Grand Slam, Christian laid out a challenge to Darby Allin for the aforementioned three-way match.

The challenge, including the stipulation banning Sting from ringside, can be seen below.
