AEW’s Plans For Women’s Championship Revealed

At All Out on August 31st, Chris Jericho and Hangman Adam Page will go one-on-one, with the winner becoming the inaugural AEW World Champion.

With regards to their Women’s Championship, All Elite Wrestling will be crowning the inaugural champion on their debut on TNT on October 2nd.

At All Out, the 21-woman Casino Battle Royale will take place. The winner of that match will go on to AEW’s debut on TNT for a shot at becoming the first women’s champion for the new promotion.

FW4Online is reporting that the scheduled match between Riho and Hikaru Shida will be announced as a number one contendership match in the coming days.

This means that either Riho or Shida will go one to face the winner of the Casino Battle Royale on October 2nd for the AEW Women’s Championship.
