Andrade El Idolo Pulled From Upcoming Event

AEW star Andrade El Idolo has been pulled from this weekend’s RGR Lucha Libre show.

Andrade was originally set to appear for the promotion at Sunday’s (November 20) show in Cudahy, California. RGR Lucha Libre has since shared a video to Facebook featuring Andrade in a hospital gown.

Confirming that he will not be at this weekend’s event, Andrade said:

“Greetings to all my friends in Los Ángeles! I would have loved to meet you all this Sunday, but I had an issue to attend.

“I will be giving more details about it at a later date. If it had been up to me, I would have loved to be there with you all.

“I hope to see you all again in Los Ángeles and I apologize.”

The star recently made an appearance at the Big Event expo. His wife and WWE star Charlotte Flair was notably pulled from the event.

Andrade hasn’t wrestled for AEW since competing in the Casino Ladder Match during the September 4  All Out pay-per-view.

Andrade El Idolo and Sammy Guevara were reportedly involved in a backstage altercation at the October 5 Dynamite taping, following which, Andrade was sent home.

Recent reports have indicated that Andrade is currently serving an AEW suspension.
