Another Hall Of Famer Has Harsh Words For WWE Locker Room

After Undertaker and Goldberg publicly criticised WWE’s current roster, another wrestling legend has revealed his unsavoury opinions of the WWE locker room.

D-Von Dudley has recently stated that the up-and-coming WWE stars are disrespectful. Talking with Fred Rosser (FKA Darren Young) on Table Talk, the former Tag Team Champion voiced his grievances surrounding WWE’s current stars.

Noting that wrestlers nowadays don’t respect the people who came before them, Dudley stated that this is a big issue with younger talent.

The former ECW star singled out Drew McIntyre, Rusev and Sheamus as exceptions, revealing they were eager to learn from stars of the past.

Here is the full quote, courtesy of WrestlingNews.co:

“Nowadays in this business, the young guys that are brought up in this business, they are disrespectful. They’re rude. Listen, Generation X, which is my generation, the Attitude Era and all of that, yes, we had attitude, but there is one thing I will say about my generation is that we respect those that came before us. That’s one of the problems that we have with a lot of young talent. Darren (Young), along with a host of other guys, and I’m just going to name them, Drew McIntyre, Rusev, and Sheamus, they always had respect for the older talent that came in and always wanted to pick our brains. It was great being in the locker room with those guys. It really was.”

These opinions are seem to reflect the same points that Goldberg made on After The Bell. Both D-Von and Goldberg began to make names for themselves in the late 90s.

Even though they didn’t share a locker room for a good portion of their careers, it seems that they share the same backstage mentality.

D-Von Dudley became a WWE producer in 2016, before being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018 as part of The Dudley Boyz.
