Footage of a backstage assault in progress broke into an interview segment with an AEW champion on tonight’s AEW Dynamite.
On tonight’s AEW Dynamite (February 1) AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter was in a backstage segment with the Bunny when her time to make a decision was cut short.
While the Bunny was challenging Jamie Hayter to an eliminator match next week on AEW Dynamite, footage began to roll of a backstage assault in progress.
Featuring Saraya and Toni Storm attacking Hayter’s friend and tag partner Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D, Hayter quickly fled to the aid of Baker.
The Bunny for her part, didn’t seem particularly bothered. We’ll have to await the rundown of the card for next week for confirmation of whether or not the eliminator match was made official!
Also on tonight’s show, Jon Moxley made a sweet entrance before engaging in a decidedly violent and vicious battle with Hangman Adam Page.
In a backstage segment, one AEW star confirmed that they’re officially done with tag teams.
Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite (February 1) Darby Allin is set to put his TNT Championship on the line against Samoa Joe in a No Disqualification match.
