Former AEW Women’s World Champion Saraya says she will “beat up” former WWE Divas Champion Brie Garcia following Bryan Danielson’s comment.
On tonight’s April 12 edition of AEW Rampage, “Cool Hand” Angelo Parker will face Zak Knight in a grudge match months in the making.
Ahead of tonight’s show, Bryan Danielson took to social media to promote the Rampage episode and the grudge match. He wrote:
I fully support @TheAngeloParker in this match, and if he wins I will help him plant a Paw Paw Orchard. #AEWRampage #PlantPawPaws
Edit: If you don’t know what Paw Paws are, you should probably study more native plant species.
In a quote tweet of Danielson’s post, Saraya took Bryan’s support of “Cool Hand Ang” as a sign of disrespect and threatened to beat up his wife Brie Garcia. She wrote:
If he wins I’m gonna beat up Brie just because you tweeted this.
It isn’t likely that this will lead to Brie Garcia making her AEW debut, but many fans expect the former WWE Divas Champion to respond in a similarly funny fashion.
Also announced for tonight’s AEW Rampage, Jay White will face Matt Sydal, Orange Cassidy will go one-on-one with Alex Reynolds and Julia Hart will defend the TBS Title against Leyla Hirsch.
