CM Punk has been drafted to WWE Raw on Night 2 of the WWE Draft 2024, appearing on the April 29 show to address Drew McIntyre.
Punk and McIntyre’s animosity continues, despite the pair being on the injured list, with McIntyre responding to the latest salvo from Punk.
That’s not the only thing that drew the attention of WWE fans, however, with Punk’s Raw draft graphic raising eyebrows.
As can be seen in the image shared on social media below, CM Punk’s three milestones are listed as:
Returned to WWE after 10 year absence at Survivor Series
Recovering from torn triceps injury
Grand Slam Champion
Punk did, indeed, return to WWE after a ten year absence at Survivor Series in 2023 and would suffer an injury that at the Royal Rumble in 2024.
It’s the Grand Slam Champion claim that rang alarm bells, however, as Punk has never been a Grand Slam Champion.
The WWE Grand Slam Champion criteria require male wrestlers to have held the WWE, Intercontinental, United States and Tag Team Championships.
Punk hasn’t held, to date, the United States Championship, something that tweeted to USA Network, who replied by saying:
“Just willing it into existence.”
He may not be a Grand Slam Champion, but CM Punk is a Triple Crown Champion.
The current WWE United States Champion is Logan Paul having defeated Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel in November 2023.
