Today WWE released a number of performers and Bo Dallas was among them. Now, we know more backstage details about the end of Dallas’ tenure with the company.
Fightful Select (subscription required) is currently reporting that Dallas was backstage at SmackDown recently. However, it was noted that Fightful had been told that he was not figured in to any creative plans.
Dallas also reportedly participated in a test match at WrestleMania as WWE test out their equipment.
Humorously, the report also confirms that Bo Dallas was not currently, nor has he ever been, portraying The Fiend. This has been a popular theory among some wrestling fans as they hoped WWE would one day tie Dallas into a storyline with his real-life brother Bray Wyatt.
Dallas has not wrestled since Crown Jewel in 2019 where he was involved in a battle royale. He leaves WWE as the third ever NXT Champion, and a former Raw Tag Team Champion.
